Designed by Farmers, For Farmers
Combi Clamp Ltd is the creation of farmers, designers, and owners Wayne and Lynley Coffey. The idea was born in 1998 out of a need to make dagging 10,000 ewes on a Taihape hill country property easier and less physically demanding.
What started as a tool to save time and energy quickly proved useful for many other tasks. With encouragement from fellow farmers, Wayne and Lynley launched Combi Clamp, and a successful business was born.
Today, the business is thriving in New Zealand and Australia. All manufacturing is done in-house in Palmerston North, ensuring the highest quality control. Wayne and Lynley's focus remains on delivering a quality, durable, and affordable product, because their hearts still lie with farming.
Our Product Range

Standard Sheep Handler
The core unit for dagging, drenching, vaccinating, mouthing, and general sheep handling tasks. Versatile and easy to use.

Three Way Draft
Our most popular extra. Draft your sheep by condition, age, or weight in one easy pass, saving time and effort.

Weigh Gear Attachments
Integrate an electronic weighing system seamlessly with our purpose-built attachments. Scales available on request.

Curved Races
May be required to assist with positioning the Combi Clamp or may be an advantage for a sole operator. Dimensions: 1.5m radius for the outside curve, 1.1m radius for the inside curve.

Wheel Attachments
Enables the Standard Unit to become its own 1.7m wide trailer and carry optional extras including Three Way Draft, Curves etc.

Wool Classing Wall
Allows access to the wool across the sheep rather than just the back. Also offers a good view of feet.

Lamb Cushion Wall
A lower wall on the operators side which makes it easier to handle lambs, especially when drenching and vaccinating. Popular with goat farmers also.

Handpiece Holder
This device can be easily fitted to most materials. Fully covered with rubber, it is a soft and sturdy hook for your handpiece.

Sheep Anti-Backing Ramp
Fits into races of varying width. Sheep flow over the ramp very well and we are yet to see one back over it.

Gadget Holder
Attached via the Weigh Gear Attachments, the Gadget Holder is a safe, stable place to put all those bits and pieces, such as: indicator, vaccine, ear markers, raddle, and tags.

HD Vet Crush
The Vet Area offers a split vet gate that slams from both directions and an off-side vet gate with an easily accessed slam catch handle from inside of the crush. A foot operated kick door keeps you out of the firing line.

HD Vetless Crush with Squeeze
Perfect for properties that don’t require vet access but handle various age groups. The Parallel Squeeze is great for narrowing the crush area or for calming agitated animals.

HD Vetless Crush
Our entry level crush still offers an automatic head bail, split gates and a top access gate on both sides, rubber floor and anti-backing ratchet as standard.

Manual Headbail
Easily installed into existing yards, it offers quick release and is adjustable to any size. A cost effective alternative for smaller land holders. Ext. Width: 750mm, Height: 1720mm, Weight: 88kg.

Auto Head Yoke
A fully automatic head bail with auto-reset. Easily installed into existing yards to make catching animals a one-person job.
Anti-Backing Ratchets
Per pair, includes rump bar. A simple and effective addition to any cattle race to improve stock flow and safety.

Sliding Gate
Heavy-duty construction with an auto-locking catch and oil-filled nylon rollers for smooth, reliable operation.

What Farmers Are Saying
The Combi Clamp has revolutionised our stock handling. It's so quiet the sheep are happy to repeat the experience. It's saved my back and countless hours in the yards.
I can't believe we managed without the auto head bail. I can now handle the cattle by myself, safely and efficiently. The auto-reset is magic. Best investment I've made on the farm.
Built like a tank, simple to use, and doesn't need power. It just works, every time. The quality for the price is unbeatable. The Coffeys have made a brilliant piece of kit.
